Neighborhood Watch: SouthGate

Hi there. This is Beth Helvey with Compass Real Estate, and I wanted to introduce you to Southgate Neighborhood, which is now my neighborhood! So to give you a little bit of a recap on this, there are over 2000 homes in the community, and the houses range in age from built in the fifties, sixties, and seventies, and a few nearer ones. But the best thing about this neighborhood is you can find a lot of the beloved mid-century modern homes here.

Southgate community is actually pretty big. The northern border is Hyde Park. The southern border is Bee Ridge Road, and on the east and west border you've got Tamiami Trail and Beneva. All in all, there are about 2000 homes within the entire community.

Victor Lundy community center is the hardest South Gate where they've got a pool here, as well as a large community center that can be used for venues such as weddings, get togethers, and places of worship.
