Sarasota Beach Tour

Let me show you the best beaches Sarasota Manatee has to offer. We all know why you come here, It's for our miles and miles of perfect beaches. I'm Beth Helvey with Couture real estate. Let me introduce you to my Sarasota area's best beaches with some local tips and secrets to make your beach day perfect.

Starting in the north nearest Tampa bay, Anna Maria Island has a quant look and feel, and that is by design. The city has put ordinances in place to keep Annamaria less commercialized. One of the prettiest drives is down the Gulf of Mexico from Annamaria and Bradenton beach. It's a long narrow road, full of beautiful homes and water views.

Longboat key feels private because most of it is the majority of the access points for the beach are private for those living or staying on the island. You wouldn't know it looking at the beautiful homes and condos around here, but the longboat key used to be home to a body range. During world war II, occasionally beach goers will find a different kind of shell, a 50 caliber. Heading further South Lito beach is located right off St arm's circle. Lito key was indirectly named by a Sarasota resident. John Ringling. He referred to the keys beach as a Lido, which means shore in Italian in the name Lido keys stuck. Local tip, if you wanna get a great spot come before church gets out on Sunday mornings like around 9:00 AM. You can sit near the water and get some great shells

You can park for free at the main lot or a long Benjamin Franklin drive. There was a concession stand on the beach, or you can head to one of the hotels for a quick cocktail or lunch. At Ted Sperling park, right around the corner. You can take a trip through the mangroves and look for dolphins and manatees. You can rent or bring your own kayak and paddle boards. South Lido has a pine tree-covered park with a playground picnic, benches, and grills but be careful swimming here, the east side has a strong undertow and there are no lifeguards. Welcome to Siesta Key beach, the number one beach in the USA. According to Steve Leatherman, also known as Dr. Beach. It's well-loved for the powdery white sand that has quartz crystals in it that make it sparkle in the sun. If you forget your umbrella or it breaks like mine once did you can rent a giant umbrella and they will plant it in the sand for you. There are two concession stands here that serve snacks, drinks, and adult beverages. My favorite on a hot day is the pina colada. While you're here, head to the village for restaurants, and cute shops in the market.

Venice has four main beaches, Venice municipal beach, Nokomis beach, and south Brower beach, which has a dog park in Casper beach, which is the longest beach in Sarasota county. Venice beach is the shark tooth cap of the world. Here's a local hint come after a big storm and there'll be more shells and teeth on shore.
