The Veg Head Music Festival is a brand new event coming to Sarasota! Happening March 18th, 12pm-6pm!
Featuring Veggie & Vegan Food Trucks/Vendors (TBA), Live Jam Bands (TBA), and a Spring Indie Market featuring 60+ local artisans & more!
Located in Parking Lot 4 (East Grand Entrance) of The Mall at University Town Center!

Cookout for Conservation
JOIN US for a Cookout for Conservation fundraiser on March 18 from 2 to 8 pm at the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in North Port! PLEASE PLAN TO GET YOUR TICKETS NOW. This helps us with the head count for food and drinks. Please note because we need a generally accurate head count, NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE THE DAY OF THE EVENT. We appreciate your understanding and we look forward to seeing you! If you can’t attend on March 18th but you’d like to donate anyway, you may also do so via Eventbrite:

- Food, water, soft drinks (burgers/dogs/veggie burgers on the grill served up by North Port Boy Scout Troop 254)
- Live rock n' roll by The Philharmonica Band from 4-8 pm www.thephilharmonicaband.com
- Guided nature walks every 1/2 hour between 2-4 pm (space limited, register at the event entry tent)
$4 draft beer available for purchase with ID
Bring your own chair/blanket. Leashed dogs welcome per park rules.
Several other area nature/outdoors-related nonprofits will have tables set up for your educational enjoyment.
Our goal is to provide a fun event with dancing to a live band, socializing and enjoying the outdoors with backyard-style food and beverage while helping us raise money to support our land conservation/environmental education mission.
