Lido

While I grew up going to Siesta Key Beach, as an adult, I go to Lido. One of my favorite things to do is head to the beach for a few hours and either my favorite breakfast place, The Blue Dolphin, or my favorite lunch place, The Colombia. After, I love wandering the shops around St Armand Circle, and maybe going to Killwin’s for an ice cream cone.

Lido Key is indeed a fantastic destination for those seeking a scenic and enjoyable getaway. With its pristine beaches and focus on eco-tourism, it offers a range of activities to suit different interests.

Deep-sea fishing, dolphin watching, and sailing are popular choices for those who love the water and want to experience the natural beauty of Lido Key. The island has everything from fine resorts that provide a luxurious and feature-filled experience to smaller hotels and time-share properties that offer a more intimate and cozy stay.

One of the highlights of Lido Key is the fresh seafood available in the area. Whether you’re a seafood enthusiast or simply looking to savor some delicious meals, you won’t be disappointed with the quality and variety of seafood options available. Additionally, the sunsets on Lido Key are known to be breathtaking, providing a perfect way to end your day.

In addition to its natural beauty, Lido Key is home to St. Armands Circle, a vibrant hub of chic boutiques, fine dining establishments, and snack bars. The Circle offers a range of entertainment options, including art fairs and classic car shows. For those looking for a more active experience, you can take a private kayak tour through the mangroves or simply relax on the powdery sugar beaches of Lido Beach.

Lido Key caters to a diverse range of visitors, offering everything from classic beach cottages to condos and large waterfront mansions. With its wide array of accommodations, activities, and attractions, Lido Key truly has something for everyone to enjoy.
